Lockdown 4.0 Released!

Its finally here, Gojohonnyboi and ipodtouchmaster have been working on this the last few days. Lockdown v4, this has come with HUGE improvements, here are a few:
No more respringing your device
Applications lock and unlock 10x faster
Every application can be locked, that means appstore apps also
and many more improvements overall!
Ok now how to install:
Untill its up on Cydia you will have to manually install Lockdown, it can be confusing so read through the instructions first and if you dont understand it then please wait till its up on Cydia.
Before-Installing:
You Must have the following:
Jailbroken ipod touch/iphone in firmware 2.1
Must Uninstall any older form of Lockdown
Must have Mobile Substrate installed through Cydia
SSH access to your jailbroken device
Terminal or Putty so you can input commands
Installing:
In the download folder there are 2 things when you unzip it. There is the Lockdown.app and Lockdown.dylib.

1. First navigate to /Applications on your device
2. Then place Lockdown.app in there
3. Next go to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLybraries and put Lockdown.dylib in there.
4. Now open up terminal or putty and input each of these commands one at a timer.

chmod 755 /Applications/Lockdown.app/Lockdown
6.
chmod 755 /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/Lockdown.dylib
7.
rm /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist
8.
reboot
WARNING: After you reboot your device it may take UP TO 5 minutes to turn back on!! So please do not get worried if it takes longer than usual.

If i only have version 2.0.2 jailbroken, then this won’t work?

i got a problem. I never used Lockdown 3.0 or something else on 2.0/2.1. So i have installed Lockdown 4.0 cause no respring is creat! But if i start the app it tells me i need a password, or the word. But i don´t have one, cause i never used this app =( Is there a standard password ? Need help please. I tried re-installing, but don´t work

All you have to do is create a password. Make the word whatever you want. But, don’t forget it.
The word is used in case you forget your number password. Then you will be able to reset your password.
But, you are not locked out =P You just need to set it up for the first time.

oh, sorry. I forgot to write it. If i write for password for example “12345″ it says wrong password. That´s my problem.. i´ll try it again when i´m at home. Thank you guy =)
i’ve met all the requirement above
but i cant lock any single app, when i select lock, it doesnt do anything.
the only thing i can do is lock all

what firmware do you have?

I need some help. i had the older verzion of locked on my 2.0 iphone i updated to 2.1 when i installed locked down 4.0 it asked me my for my password i entered the password i had in the older verzion and it doesnt work.i entered the safty word that doesnt work either.i’ve tried uninstalling and installing it again but it remains the same please help : (
i forgot my password and my safety word how can i fix this? uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing! HELP! <– He actually was stupid enough to somehow put a password of “tiger” in a numeric password entry and doesn’t want to admit it, how can he fix it?
